Benjamin Kelényi

About:

My name is Benjamin Kelényi, I’m a first year Ph.D. student in Artificial Intelligence at the Technical University of Cluj-Napoca. During my BSc and MSc studies, I managed to gain knowledge in the following areas: Automation, Systems Engineering, Embedded Systems. In my Master’s thesis entitled “Control system and traffic sign recognition for autonomous vehicles” I implemented an algorithm that keeps an autonomous robot in the center of the lane by detecting the lane lines and trained a model which is able to recognize traffic signs. My Bachelor’s thesis was a “Two-wheel self-balancing robot”, in this project I had the task to implement a control algorithm on a microcontroller to balance an instable robot (inverted pendulum problem).
